  • FRIDAY, MARCH 7

    HANG - 10AM
    Join us at the Museum of Life and Science for some kid-friendly fun at 10AM. We will have lunch at the museum. The afternoon can be spent as you please.

    WELCOME DINNER - 6:30PM
    Plan to join us for a welcome dinner in Downtown Durham at 6:30PM at Mateo’s Bar de Tapas. Bring your speeches and toasts!

  • SATURDAY, MARCH 8

    WEDDING + PARTY! - 3PM

    Arrive at the Spruce Pine Lodge at around 3PM for cocktail hour before settling in for the ceremony at 4PM.

    The ceremony will be followed by dinner and dancing. And cake!

    Spruce Pine Lodge is a 30-minute drive north of Durham in Bahama, NC. We will have transportation available from downtown Durham. There is also plenty of parking available on site.

  • SUNDAY, MARCH 9

    BREAKFAST - 9AM - 11AM
    As you make your way on down the road (or not!), we invite you to stop in and bid farewell over bagels and coffee.

    The breakfast will be at the Lincoln on Geer.

The 21c Museum Hotel is a boutique hotel and contemporary art museum with luxurious guest rooms and home to Counting House restaurant.

MARRIOT - CITY CENTER

A full-service Marriott with amenities such as in-room dining, a business center and a 24-hour gym. There is also a Starbucks and a restaurant.

  • You will fly into RDU which is about a 20 minute drive away from Downtown Durham. Once Downtown, everything you need will be within a mile radius. There are a few coffee shops and plenty of restaurants/ bars as well as a market.

    Lyft and Uber are readily available in the area.

    On Saturday, March 8, we will have a shuttle leaving to the wedding party at 2:30PM with several trips heading back starting at 8PM.

  • If you rent a car, there are a few options for parking. Both hotels offer valet parking and there are city lots very close to the hotels as well, which are typically free on weekends.

  • March in Durham is generally pretty mild but it is definitely Spring and temperatures will likely be in the 50-60s.

    For the wedding, we welcome you to join us in dressing up for the occasion. The wedding will be indoors and outdoors so take into consideration your footwear and bring a layer (or two)!

  • We are stoked to just bring everyone together and do not need a damn thing! Well, we do need a shed for our backyard (to hold some of our damn things) so if you must, a contribution to our shed fund is welcome!

  • This is a great question! If you don’t know something, reach out to Michael and/or Leslie and we will help you out. Durham is a small, easy place and we want you to have a nice time. Once you arrive, we will make sure you have some in-town recommendations as well as a detailed itinerary (printed!) that will put all of the needed information in one place.
